From independent consulting to QkSkima Inc.
Adlerwacht is a product of QkSkima Inc., a small, independent company founded in Japan in 2025. The roots go back further, though — to 2008, when its founder began working as an independent IT consultant for businesses in Germany and Japan. Formalizing that work as QkSkima Inc. didn't change how it operates: build things plainly, explain them honestly, and only ship what actually does what it claims. Adlerwacht is held to exactly that standard.
Founder
Adlerwacht is led by Colin Atkins, who studied at OWL University in Germany and Waseda University in Japan — the same two countries QkSkima Inc. has served as an independent IT consultant since 2008. That background is why Adlerwacht ships in German and Japanese from day one, not as an afterthought bolted on later.
