Nothing about how you send email changes. Adlerwacht sits quietly between your outgoing mail and your recipient, and only steps in for the attachment.

The fraud this actually stops
The same starting point, two very different endings.
Without Adlerwacht
- 1 An attacker gets into the recipient's inbox — a phishing email, a reused password, doesn't matter how.
- 2 Your invoice is sitting right there as a plain attachment, exactly as you sent it, for as long as it stays in that inbox.
- 3 The attacker opens it, changes the bank account or IBAN, and leaves everything else looking untouched.
- 4 Your customer pays the invoice they were expecting — straight into the attacker's account.
With Adlerwacht
- 1 The same attacker gets into the same inbox — this part doesn't change.
- 2 But there's no attachment to find. Only a link, and nothing behind it without a passkey check.
- 3 That check runs against the real recipient's own enrolled device — a stolen password alone can't pass it.
- 4 The file that does get opened is the original, straight from Adlerwacht's storage, exactly as it was sent.
What that actually gets you
Revoke before it's opened
Sent something by mistake, or worried an account's been compromised? Pull back any attachment the recipient hasn't downloaded yet — something standard email simply can't do once a message is sent.
Send up to 100MB
Well past what Gmail or Outlook allow as a plain attachment — no more splitting files or switching to a separate file-sharing tool.
Never sits exposed in a mailbox
Once Adlerwacht takes the attachment out of the mail flow, it's not a static file anyone with inbox access can read indefinitely — it's gone from the mailbox the moment it arrives.
For the one gap Standard doesn't close
A brand-new recipient's very first document
Standard protects every attachment after a recipient has set up their passkey. Plus closes the one moment that's left — the very first time, before that check exists yet — by holding the first document back until the recipient verifies a one-time code sent to their phone, in addition to registering their passkey. That proves the device setting up access is actually reachable at that phone number, not an attacker who only got into the recipient's email.
Standard is enough when...
you already know the recipient through some other channel — a phone call, an existing relationship, anything besides email alone.
Choose Plus when...
it's a new, often international business contact you've only ever reached by email, with no other way to informally vouch for who's really on the other end.
